Most of ed-tech is selling the wrong product: “AI that replaces teachers.” It’s the wrong product because the win was never fewer humans. The win is removing the artificial pace of a classroom and pointing great adults at the things only adults can do.
So we split the work cleanly. Best-in-class adaptive software does the academic heavy lifting — personalization, pacing, mastery — and it does it faster than any classroom on earth. It’s effectively a 1:1 tutor for the core, and it runs in the morning when children are sharpest.
Then the guides do what software cannot: mentor, challenge, push, and build the kind of human environment a child can grow up inside. Roughly six children to a guide, often fewer. The opposite of teacher-replacement — teacher-in-the-loop, always.
Software handles the curriculum. Humans handle the human.
That’s the line, and it’s also the architecture. It’s why our days look the way they do, and why we can promise parents both things at once: real acceleration, and more humanity — not a trade between them.
